昨天的文章提到说，09年度 Feast 社会企业家峰会之要旨在于传播长线思考的精神（inspired by the long now），我们今天就来认识一下这个叫 Long Now Foundation （不妨将其中文名译为恒今基金会）的创始人 Stewart Brand.
Stewart 是一位颇具传奇色彩的人物。他是上个世纪六七十年代出现在美国的 counter culture 一代之最鲜活的一个写照。他曾经是一位新媒体艺术家，到60年代末，主持出版了一本名为《地球索引》（英文名为 Whole Earth Catalog）的杂志。该杂志的第一期第一页是这样写的：
